Yes, SPY RF recorders are working in the same way, alarms are directly sent in real time to Sirius Box that forwards it to the platform.
To guarantee the tightness and the functionalities of the connector, you have to follow some steps while replacing the probe.
1/ Unscrew only both central wheels which connect the extension lead to the probe. One has to be unscrewed upwards and one downwards.
2/ Wait for the SPY RF recorder to detect that the probe has been unplugged. Once detected, dashes appear on the screen of the recorder. On www.siriusweb.fr, you can see the mention «default sensor» appearing. It shows that the recorder has detected that the probe has been unplugged.
3/ Screw the new digital probe with the central wheels.
Reminder: Don't let Ice appear on the connector and the probe. It could damage the probe and modify temperature values.
Two possible reasons for that situation:
- SPY RF records 1 measuring point every 15 minutes. The screen is not refreshed in real time (On the contrary the indicator of the cold room is refreshed in real time), the displayed value on the SPY can have been measured 15 minutes sooner.
- The JRI probe and the regulation probe of the cold room are not situated at the same place. If the gap is noticed on a period of a minimum of 15 days, the second reason is most probable. JRI places the probe at the return air which is the hottest point of the cold room.
To sweep aside doubts on the accuracy of measurement of the JRI probe, we recommend switching the JRI probes from two cold rooms following the steps of the procedure of replacement of a probe:
- If the gap noticed is the same, the probe accuracy can not be the reason. The value gap is indeed due to the location of both probes. In that case, you can ask your installer to adjust the regulation probe of the cold room.
- If the probe replacement reduces consequently the gap between the measurements of the regulation probe and the JRI probe, the support department of JRI can help you to define a maintenance action.
During defrosting cycles of the negative cold rooms, temperature, behind the evaporator, increases a lot in a short time (defrosting peak).
This situation is normal.
The place of the JRI probe allows checking the evaporator functioning properly. (Quality and frequency of defrosting cycles).
If the alarms are triggered during defrosting cycles, ask your installer to modify the settings of your compressor and never let the door opened too long.
